As someone who is completely new to wood working I loved this book. It has a lot of excellent information and helped me realize what I can try on my own and what I will need to have someone show me.

I’m a novice and found lots of help here, BUT this shouldn’t be your only resource. I found the recommendations for magazines and other sources in the back of the book to be helpful. You do not need to buy all the power tools mentioned in this book, it is excellent to know they exist and what they are for. The price is aptly for this book and there is an Amazon online text available.
